2. Where were you born? Pusan, South Korea
3. If you were born in another country how old were you when you came here? 3 months.
4. What city did you grow up in? Aurora till I was 3-ish, Arlington Heights till I was 4-5ish, but all my real growing up occurred in good ol' Mundelein.
5. Did you enjoy your childhood? Very much so. I was a happy, if awkward, little kid.
6. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up? An artist and a veterinarian.
7. What was your favorite toy when you were little? Dang, this is hard. I guess stuffed animals were always big, but my favorite thing was my blanket, Chewy.
9. What was your first best friend’s name? Alexis (in Arlington Heights) and then there was Ashley in Mundelein

13. Can you name all the schools you ever attended? There was this Waubonsee (sp?) daycare thing, Montessori preschool in Mundelein, Santa Maria Del Popolo for kindergarten and 1st grade, Mechanics Grove Elementary School, Carl Sandburg Middle School, Mundelein High School, College of Lake County (for one class), and Grinnell College
14. Who was your first crush? This kid who lived next door to me in Aurora. I don't really remember his name.

16. When you were little what did you do for fun? Played outside, rode bikes, made up stories, read books, etc.
17. Were you closer to your Mom or Dad as a kid? About the same with each.
18. Do you have any embarrassing school stories to share? Hmm. Let's see. In third grade I showed up to school wearing some really crappy clothes and without having brushed my hair on picture day. In high school I did a lot of stupid, embarassing things.
19. What was the first record, tape or CD you remember buying? Britney Spears's first cd. Dear lord.
20. How old did you want to be when you get married? I always thought sometime in my twenties would be right.
21. How old to have kids? I dunno. I never really thought about when I'd have kids . . . I mostly contemplated if I'd have them.
22. Were you scared of anything? Yeah. Bugs were a HUGE fear.
23. What was your favorite class in school? Language arts/English
24. Did you buy school lunch or bring your own? It varied.
25. Broke any bones or had any freaky accidents as a kid? Not really.
26. Were you a meanie head or miss prissy? I would probably categorize my childhood self as a "meanie head", since it's not "miss prissy". I was basically a tomboy.
27. Favorite board game of all time? Umm. I loved Monopoly when I was younger.

29. Random memory from when you were a kid? Staying at my grandparents' house when my parents moved our stuff from Aurora to Mundelein (it's a long complicated story), and crying for my blanket. I have so many other random memories, dear lord.
30. Seriously..are you still just a kid at heart? Ummm, I'd say not really. I think working with little kids brings out the kid in me, which I really enjoy . . . so maybe I should spend more time around 5-year-olds.
